When Serie A and La Liga had all the money, their teams hardly every had results like this. And that despite the fact that teams from ' minnow ' nations were far stronger back then. But the EPL gives at least one comedy show every European round of fixtures.
Make no mistake, the fact football is sooo boring and at such a shit level is largely to do with the fact that all the money went to a country that has never delivered world class football consistently. Not with their league clubs, nor with their international team.
The foreign sugar daddies backed the wrong horse.

Yeah, moved back to my hometown. Done with the city life. Countryside Norway is the way to live for me.

Pep is now what, 8-9 years there? When he starts at a club, he has no scruples to throw out legends to make space for the future. But now he became placid himself. The day he took Gundogan back from Barca, not because he needed him, but because he wanted to help his friend after they met in a restaurant, was the day he lost himself and became like other managers. He's drained.
