I feel like some Barca fans like IniUltra and Messi983 just can't stand the 'Germanization' of Barca under Flick. They see it as Barca transforming into Discount Bayern.

That's why they are ready to put up with Xavi's style of play; just because of the "Barca DNA" narrative. No wonder these posters were probably the biggest defenders of the "Amigo culture" at the club even years after the decline of the "Amigos" at Barca.

Newsflash! Football evolves and since Prime Barca's all conquering tikitaka dominance Football has moved on to a faster, more physical, pressing-oriented Bayern/German system and style of play.

Even Pep who was the epitome of Barca DNA has moved on in the same direction. He often plays 4 tall CBs as a back 4. His style of play has evolved a lot to keep up with the times.

These fans will never love or accept Flick as one of their own. They see him as a temporary outsider and a hipster with a crazy high line and high press.
