Proper coach Alonso (who is definitely their next) is playing 3 CBs, 3 defense-minded midfielders and Wirtz as part of a forward duo with Grimaldo and Frimpong as wingbacks. He's been too defensive this season.

We have nothing to lose imo in CL. Did our job, best result in the last 6 years, now we just have to give it a real go and whatever happens happens.

Alonso is a system coach, but how do you build system football when you have two lazy ball-less players in your team? How.



In 2017, a system coach by the name of Valverde came to Barcelona - what happened then? He realized he couldn't put his systemic football with a lazy little dictator and his lazy fat friend.


We ended up seeing a 4-4-2 with a deep defense and those barcelona's style type players - Vidal, Paulinho.

Real is truly the most protected club. They have structurally been a disgrace this season. Now also carvajal going to dugout during HT to laugh at Saka for missing the penalty.

Yet general public and media will barely put them through the wringer.


People are too eager to praise them for their winning mentality. But barely getting criticized for repeated diving by half of their players when things don’t go their way. And deliberate fouls to harm players. Rudiger stood on Saliba(?) stomach.

Look at young Saka - he is one of the best wingers in the world. He just came back from injury. Look at how he helps the team in defense! Look at how he follows the runs of the Real left-back. This guy is not only good on the ball, but he is also a great defender (he isn't lazy without the ball).

Some idiots try to convince me that Lamine is good on the ball, so there is no need to burden him with defensive work.

I agree. Any coach who has to deal with Vini and Mbappe in the starting lineup will fail. These two match terribly.
