Doesn't mean that the roof big lift happens this summer though.. the compression ring is part of the whole structure especially the upper parts of the pillars.. so this indicates nothing about the actual roof. I think its hard to predict when ,even for Limak and the club.Construction of the compression ring, that will hold the roof has started.
The lower part of the stand was re-profiled, it is marginally steeper now, honestly just cosmetic. They already lowered the pitch 2,5 meters in 1994 so all they could do was this. Some here wrote about the stands not following the pitch in a parallell line, in other words it's curved at lateral side. I see now Bernabeu is the same. Standard practice?
If u follow construction u would know that all mechanical operations (metal structure, cantilever, stands ) are pretty much straight forward and quick.. what seems to be lasting forever are the technical operations which seem to be taking forever (mobility cores, installations of elevators , slats, etc).. the slat installation particularly looks mega giga slow.Tercero grada is moving quite quickly with an estimate of it being completed (apart from seats) by end of February
Yeah. Real Madrid cannot expand Bernabeu capacity, unless a whole neighbourhood is demolished. Otherwise they'd have easily built a 110k stadium.Bernabeu is closer as it's more square-ish. Camp Nou is more of a bowl shape, hence the considerable extra capacity.
