An interesting video from Bretos about the ceramic cover that will soon be installed. Also some interesting numbers about the construction. Put on subtitles.

I already know the real life ceramic stripes will look worse than the renders. Same as Bernabeu really. I hope they will look at least decent from up close. Half a meter between stripes is a lot though. The metal skeleton behind them will show through.

His 3D render software has no shading applied whatsoever. The contrast between the ceramic and the concrete is total crap, because there's no light source (lamp or sun).

In reality it will look much different, the metal skeleton is deeper in the facade, it will not be that noticeable due to natural light and shades.

Yeah, but 40-50cm spacing between ceramic blades is A LOT.

CL match against PSG officially at the Montjuic now. Barca could play 3 home games in 3 different stadiums now. Getafe at Cruyff, Sociedad at Camp Nou, PSG at Montjuic.

They cite administrative permit delays - it's an odd one because even UEFA rules at this stage of CL doesn't bar a stadium of 27k to be used, I believe this has more to do with the 1B not yet validated to have both lateral stands open for fans

Good chance to get the stink off the L at Olympic stadium vs PSG with a W, before finally returning to our permanent home at Camp Nou

When are we expected to reach 60k at CN?

Thought I've read UEFA can make an exception for us to play in two stadiums during group stage. Might not be worth the hassle though. PSG at Montjuic, then only 3 home games remaining in group stage (Olympiacos, Eintract and Copenhagen).

Purportedly, early October for 1C validation

It's not the minimum capacity that is preventing its use vs the Qatari club but the lack of both lateral stands (1B CFO) which is an administrative delay from the usual suspects

Impossible to say from the outside, as even 1A is delayed. City council can always find things they don't like and we don't see. I wouldn't give anything on the official timelines anymore and just go day by day watching the construction. As long as it's this year, I'll be satisfied.

By the way, they finally started to construct the third stand:
