Camp Nou

Funny thing is that if the club doesn't come back on Camp Nou this season, at 60k not some 27k bullshit, it's likely the start of next season is also someplace else. There are rumors that the installation of the roof can start in June and end in pessimistic cases in January 2027. It's the biggest cable roof on the planet.

Could come back in 2027.
My concern is that Limak work more on the 3rd tier and roofing, than preparing the stadium for limited opening, be it 27k or 60. Only yesterday I noticed, now they focus their work on the underground parking.

Think it makes sense, after opening, even partial, they are gonna have issues doing the heavy stuff. It is better to move as fast as possible as the stadium is closed on the big structural parts. They are close to finishing the metal skeleton of the entire behemoth. And the parking also.

As @TheStig said, Limak are working on their own schedule. I said it a month ago and I'm repeating myself. The Turks work on their own schedule, regardless of what Laporta promises to the public.

Good for them, they are the experts, no matter the pressure from the club and the problems the club have. They have to deliver a stadium at the promised standards and according to the plans. It is not on them, but on the club that didn't lease Montjuic for longer despite knowing that projects of this size do get delayed almost all the time.

I'm wondering if once the Camp Nou is complete, whether the club should expand the Johan Cruyff to 15-20k for the Women's team.

No one could have expected the explosion of women's football at the time of building the current JC, but with the interest in the current side due to their success and also the incoming English Super League financial muscle, our women's sides future competitive may rely on making it a more revenue generating side.

Bigger stadium, independent season ticket packages, own shirt and team sponsors. Far-fetched but potentially their own kit deal too.

Just throwing this out there.
