Bayerns exciting project cannot and will not happen without generation bridging players (potential long term captains considering Muller and Neuer are basically done). Alaba and Lewa are nothing like types of Davies who is 5-10 years younger + Lewa went off for a nice holiday, not because Munich was somehow shit. If not retaining those, you need to replace with same or better
And they will leave if all you do is promise smoke and mirrors under a manager who was 15th choice and nobody else fancied it

Even Kane has like 2 more years tops on his deal IIRC. They will be absolutely fucked if their gamble doesn't pay off. Nagelsmann decision was a bit shit but it wouldn't have mattered if they stuck to their guns. Instead they flip flop and got caught with pants down

No club is too big to fail, as evidenced by the events on Spanish soil where we're now essentially creating Bundesliga level gap between the best side and those that could but won't compete

Bayern don't have too much to worry about, domestically.

Once Xabi leaves, and some of his best players leaves(probably with him), who is there to reliably challenge Bayern?

Bayern has had it very good for a long time, they wont be winning 12 or something titles in a row again, but will win most of them anyway.

You may point to Juve, but not every Italian "dreams" about playing for Juve, they have other proper big clubs in the league, like Milan and Inter.

Bundesliga only has one flagship, Dortmund is a very distant 2nd overall.

Bayern will trigger 30m clause of Hiroki Ito, CB from Stuttgart.

They are also still in on Jonathan Tah from Leverkusen.

Looks like Kompany also has CB obssession like Pep.

also, ofc they have to buy players from teams that have finished above them last season. Some things will never change.

João Palhinha to Bayern for 50+5

Bayern board spending big for Kompany already, and major targets like Simons still to come.
Didn't see them doing that for Tuchel, when he asked for the very same player (Palhina) last summer.

Double standards

They have made an even bigger offer for Palinha last summer and Fulham refused. They have reached agreement too late and deal has collapsed after the agreement was sent after deadline.
Palinha case was due to Fulham tbf, and Tuchel got a WC players in Kane, Kim & Laimar along other transfers like Guerreiro, spending over 200M for him and tried to get Palinha till the last minute. All while all their sales were for underperforming players (Mane, Lucas, Gravenberch and Pavard).
