Mbappe going to have fun at the Allianz.

He'll get around 3 half decent chances. Upto him to convert those low xG chances.

Ofcourse there's the other element of PSG just shitting the bed and bottling it in the crucial stage.

BTW Morty, thoughts on our CL clash?

Or Bayern raise their level for the CL when more is at stake.

PSG started dominating them the moment not even a fully fit Mbappe entered...despite PSG's awful midfield and crooked defense with 40 year old Ramos

Bayern are probably the best team in the world along with City but neither are elite...it's just the competition is shit.

In terms of the top teams, this UCL has to be the worst in a good while, not a single team looks impressive so far.

Considering the state you are in, i would be quite disappointed if we didn't progress, i'll say that much.

Mbappe only really had joy the moment Coman went off, who can match him for pace. First 20 minutes he was quite ineffectual also.

But the way they use their pace is totally different.

Coman's end product is awfully unreliable and the guy is super frustrating.

Coman beats any player on the planet 1 on 1 and lifts in a shit cross. He's ridiculously fast in his first few steps.

While Mbappe gets in behind or carries the ball and causes havoc with his feints and fake shots.

Coman lacks the killer finishing and directness an in form Gnabry has. He's a bit of a donkey too. Coman is pretty similar to Dembele.

True but I meant that PSG started creating loads of chances once Coman was off because he was killing Gnabry for pace and Mendes could also overlap.

I remember when Junior Firpo of all people played RB at the Parc des Princes and completely shut Mbappe down.

Coman has been decisive in a CL final and CL KOs. Dembele has yet to achieve that with France or Barcelona. But similar profile of players yes...in that talented but frustrating with not very high football IQ

Coman isn't a bottler or un-clutch(slightly drunk so my vocab sucks rn). Coman is just unreliable and inconsistent af, regardless of the opponents he's playing against.

There's no mental block or anything with him. He's just a hot and cold guy with no Football IQ.

But Coman can literally rinse ANY player 1 on 1. You simply can't defend against him 1 on 1.

Bayern will casually stroll this home soon, but good to see Union Berlin and Dortmund on the same amount of points as Bayern.

Would be incredible if Union Berlin won it all. A win for Dortmund would be a very heavy accolade in Bellingham's CV too.
