Yeah, I have no problem with Tempt, but he and I think very differently on football quite often, and I often think his takes are way off base. He’s a stat padder who’s a fraud in biggest games.
Baljeet rates him, all you need to know![]()
That's true.In his defence he is a 10, always has been a 10, always will be. A CAM. Maybe played as high up as behind the main striker.
Utd played him as a double pivot today. A 6.
He was their deepest player when they were chasing a goal in the final moments. Your best attacking player. Your best long range shooter. And where was he? On the puti half way line.
Madness.
If Bruno was at Barca and he was played that deep, the manager would get absolutely castigated for it, and rightly so.
Totally agree. Utd fans believe Bruno would outshine KDB if he played for City instead is laughable. The ultimate numbers taken out of context to make someone seem far better than they are player imo.
Gives away so many easy passes that lead to pressure on his team, Sick of hearing about his completely fabricated 'chances creates' stats too - a lot of them are very poor quality chances. Plus they are pulled out of thin air. I heard somewhere he created 15 chances across two games against Bournemouth and Sheffield United last season (one of which they lost 3-0). I watched both games and he came nowhere near creating that many chances.
He really seems like someone who gets overrated because of out of context stats. And again - his stats are good because he's indulged and can play hero ball in a wank team. In a team like prime Man City he'd be nowhere near one of the better players and he'd have to adapt his game, meaning much more modest stats.
The type of people who think he goes to Man City, outshines De Bruyne and improves his stats because he is 'playing with better players' - as if Pep or any other top coach will give the guy free reign to play Gerrard style headless chicken hero ball - do not get football, in my opinion. There's so many examples of the game not working that way.
Yeah he's a good player to a point, and their best player. I just feel the raving he gets with out of context stats (especially the chances creates one) is way disproportionate to his actual ability and performances across 90 minutes.Totally agree. Utd fans believe Bruno would outshine KDB if he played for City instead is laughable.
Not only KDB's passing is on different level, his ball carrying and hold on the ball are something Bruno completely lacks.
Bruno has his strength of course. He may perform better than Olmo for current Barca ngl.
