Thought he would have a thread in this forum but failed to find one.
A promising youngster from Malaga academy who joined City 5 years ago after competition from Barcelona back then, have rejected renewal offer from City and Real Madrid are taking the chance on him as he is now officially signing for them.

Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of midfielder Brahim Diaz from Manchester City on a six-and-a-half year contract.

Diaz moves to Spain in a deal worth at least £15 million ($19m) plus £6.5m in add-ons, Goal understands.

Reports suggest Diaz has agreed a £60,000-a-week contract with the European champions, who have, crucially, guaranteed him a spot in the senior squad.

The Premier League champions made a series of lucrative offers to keep the young forward, who had entered the final six months of his contract, but he has been convinced that he will get more playing time in Spanish capital.

Diaz is to undergo a medical on Monday before being officially presented as a Real Madrid player at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Goal revealed earlier this week that Manchester City have agreed a clause with Madrid that entitles them to 15 per cent of any future transfer fee, should the forward sign for another club in the future.

City have also included an agreement whereby they would receive 40% of any future transfer fee if Diaz were to join Manchester United.

That seem like a very pricey deal for a teenager who can sign for free in now to join them at the end of the season.
Nevertheless, he is one of my favorite youngsters and RM should be really excited to have him.

its weird at this point Madrid only signing youngsters.. i wonder if they already have Poch lined up for next season. Eriksen and Hazard, Poch and they'll be a threat once more

Poch won't make a whole lot of sense if we're not doing a clearout. Marcelo, Modrić, Bale and maybe even Ramos are a minimum riddance needed. Poch doesn't work succeed with a conflicting ego in the dressing room. If we bring him and Eriksen for a limited amount of money then it's good, but it's really tricky to expect miracles on this front.

I read some opinions Madrid are still high on their chances of getting Allegri. Zidane will not stay put forever and if he didn't want to touch that United squad, then there's no reason for him to change his mind in the summer. But Juve? Juve need a winner gene that he's the best at bringing out of players. Allegri on the other hand is the conservative option that is the guy that can cause a non-damaging shift towards more responsible, possibly counterattacking style, somewhat of a return to DM focused midfield with creative wingers (Diaz, Hazard, Asensio). Doesn't necessitate major squad overhaul.
But for that to happen, Juve need to lose this year.

From what I read it is Allegri decision, if he stays Juve will stick to him but if he wants another challenge they will sign Zidane
I think you will be favorites to get Allegri, your biggest problem is stability and living under Zidane's shadow but this is a bit same problem in other alternatives like Manu or Barca (if we made an unlikely move)

He was a pretty big deal when City swept in and snagged him from Malaga when Barca were trying to seal his move to La Masia. His quality is absolutely there and he is perfectly suited to the game in the Primera. It's not often you can say it but it's a good deal for RM, comes cheap midway through disappointing season and they will surely recoup his fee irrespective of whether he ultimately fails to thrive at the capital club + he could become excellent
