Luka went Hollywood and he'll stay there for many seasons. Jordan brand released a few days ago some braindead Luka shoe advertisement.

It could be the other way around Jokic joining the Lakers in the future, sounds unlikely at this point, but who knows. Some things changed in Denver this season.

LeBron should call it quits after this series. Watching higlights he's putting zero effort in defense and it hurts the Lakers.
Actually if you watched the game, I would say Luka was very underwhelming. He missed some key shots, including a missed layup in the fourth quarter. This is the same player who would go supernova in the 4th quarters of the playoffs last year.

Wolves seem to be the new "Nuggets" to the Lakers. They can't seem to figure them out, no matter how much lakers are leading you just know Wolves could cut those leads within 1-2 mins like they did last night.

For this season, I see Warriors going to the finals. They have improved tremendously with Jimmy Butler. No one paid attention to that trade since it was completely overshadowed by the Luka trade.

Nico Harrison's trade of the decade ruined both Mavs and Lakers season.

After the elimination JJ Redick said last night in a confused/cryptic way they wanted to outscore Mavs from the perimeter, that's why didn't field a center. That was very naive. Rudy Gobert is a defensive beast in the paint, but to think eh he's not any threat under the basket...

Wolves were the better team, hands down. They have much better role players. Lakers bench and role players did fuk all. I believe Reaves shot under 30 % for the whole series!

San Antonio Spurs announced their new head coach, Mitch Johnson, with Pop making an appearance and giving the speech. The "mild" stroke they said to me looks as a full stroke - I'm disturbed seeing the man like this, his left hand is completely paralyzed and eyes wide open. His mind is sharp still.

Looks like my prediction of Warriors going to the finals might end up true. They have their mojo back with Jimmy B in the squad.

Of course it‘s rigged, decades ago it was obvious
True. But Mavs winning the draft with 1.8% chance after pulling one of the worst trades for themselves that only benefited the league is as blatant as it gets. This is Real Madrid and refereeing decisions level.

Refereeing biases and specific refs with particular axes to grind with several players/teams, it was analogous to officiating in La Liga - I gave up hoops just after starting following Barça, mainly due to how it was no longer sport but entertainment like professional wrestling or the Harlem Globetrotters

So much BS goes on behind closed doors and the draft is far from the only example (which is not new) - like always down to money, rich white guys thinking they can solve revenue issues by controlling the narrative & product

Well, seems no farewell game for Pop. It was about time for Spurs to move on tbf.
I had a holiday job during med school, working fragrances at Macys in Union Square SF - I met Pop, helped him pick out a fragrance as a gift

Very down to earth and I was the only person on the floor who recognized him, we talked a bit of hoops and where game was going - very classy. I’ve met a number of NBA legends in my life, Pop was memorable for coming across in real life exactly how he appears on TV - there are not a lot of them like this (Magic is similar)
