Luka isn't diva in locker room, not yet.

Unless you mean Kyrie, and he is one of the most popular players among his peers and widely considered a hard working one. Kyrie is more of Alves (without criminal case) as he is a guy who is outspoken to the public without filter or having deep thoughts before what he says. There are many articles about it, about how respected he is among his teammates.

Luka actually needs a PG to take the ball of his hand and Kyrie is the ultimate second option PG of this era tbh.
But Mavs traded their defense and assets for it, and so far they only drafted some defenders but didn't add anyone in FA or trade market to improve it.
Barring a trade that move the needle, we will suck till mid-season and fire Kidd.
If we gey a good coach, make a solid move by trade deadline, we will be back on track.

There isn't any kind of international basketball thread, so just wanted to rub into faces that Latvia just won against Spain in World Cup match. Quite a feat for our puny nation against reigning champions. And this all without our main NBA starlet Porzingis and now also our main cap Dairis Bertans out. Also beat France prior. Really something this squad. Not following basket too much, but i'm quite shocked, because we were always kinda second/third tire in INT basket for decades since fall of soviet. Only Lithuania was ever a serious player from Baltics in this field. Kudos to Banki the coach. He seems to be great as both tactician and motivator. Wish Xavi would be like that.
Now need to win over Brazil to get into 1/4.
