Senesi is the best and most affordable CB option. And even he'll have better suitors elsewhere and we won't have much chances getting him unless he really wants to play here.

Also, if I'm a defender I'm staying as far away from this team as possible. :flick: Unless I'm looking for the last big fat contract in my career and don't care how I'll do.

Silva, Vlahovic and Senesi - that would be a great window for us. Especially if we could sell at least 2 out of Tuna, Olmo and/or Casado.

You just managed to make the team worse or at best improved it with like 5% if Silva isn't washed.

Vlahovic on a five year contract with a relatively high salary + signing bonus is not better than what Ferran is currently on.

Bernardo Silva will be 32 and might just be another case like Gundogan or Arda Turan where his legs are gone.

Senesi is a decent player, but what the defence need is a top class CB that can lead the line.

Although I understand that you're trying to be somewhat realistic I suppose after all the lies the club have fed to the media about our capability to actually sign top players.

If only we could bring in another player on a cheap, who could walk in this team and improve it instantly and for years to come.
But how often do we strike gold like with Joan Garcia?

Think it will be easier for us to re-vamp entire back line with some free agent, picking from many LBs in La Liga than find a good solution for a #9.

Plenty will depend on how we finish the season and how much scrutiny will fall upon team.

Federico Dimarco's contract runs out in a year.

Could Barca potentially sign him for a reasonable fee if he want to move since Inter have been struggling to agree a contract with him?

They could look at players with 1-2 years left and potentially find some good deals there if they're going to go that route and are unable to compete with other clubs for players such as Nathaniel Brown.

Great player, always works his ass off.

Dimarco was absolutely fucking atrocious v Bodo the other night.

Genuinely looked like could barely kick a football.

Can have decent final ball at times but to me looks a poor defender and fairly slow footed that looks better as a wing back.

Yamal roasted him alive and he was absolutely fucking awful in the final v PSG.

Cant deal with decent wingers and movement.

Like it or not I think Ferran will be a starting #9 next season. I wouldn't mind bringing a proven La Liga striker like Muriqi or Budimir for cheap as a plan B (think LDJ). They could do a job for a year or two until we'll be in a position to sign someone better.

But if we'll look for a younger and less proven striker then I still believe Franculino Dju is worth considering. Depending on price ofc. If PL clubs will start to offer 40 or 50m then we shouldn't enter a bidding war but for 20-30m could be worth a punt.
