The goals/assists from open play of Lewa and Vlahovic if both had played same minutes in League/CL across past few seasons.

24/25 = 25 goals/assists (Vlahovic)
24/25 = 34 goals/assists (Lewa)

23/24 = 26 goals/assists (Vlahovic)
23/24 = 29 goals/assists (Lewa)

25/26 = 9 goals/assists (Vlahovic)
25/26 = 11 goals/assists (Lewa)

Fitness permitting he is worth the punt for me.

After thinking about it, ya I don't think Alvarez is a good idea. It's 2026 not 2010 anymore. CB and Vlahovic would be a lot better for the long term.

I just hope so they will not extend for a year Christensens contract so they count on him to play few games and then they count on Araujo and we have 5 players who can player CB and neither of them is top player : Christensen, Araujo, Cubarsi, Eric, G.Martin.

If we can't get Schloterback , I would take Senesi. He is not any worse then Christensen, Martin etc, if we are so desperate we can't get anyone better.
I looked for some left footed CB players, and there is a lot of options if you have money.
Baston, Murillo, Van de Veen, Gvardiol, Hincapie etc, but player who we could be after is Pau Torres. He could be for a move and not to expensive even he is Aston Villa.

Also it seems Kane is signing new contract, Alvarez is to expensive, I think our target could be also Serhou Guirassy. Also Osimhen. I belive we can get him from Turkey, he could be open for a move next summer. Also fucking Vlahovic who is more injury prone then Dembele last two season.

When I look sitation, we will probably extend Lewa and Christensen contract and call it a day lol.

Vlahovic case is peculiar. It's not like he would be joining us because he has lit the world on fire in Juve and is taking the next step to world class. He is basically falling upwards. The other interested teams, Spurs(?), Milan(?) are more his level but what would be the point of joining them, if not using as a springboard to reach top clubs?

Now he already gets the chance to join a top club without really deserving it, but at the cost of a lower salary. A golden opportunity to test himself at Barca for a couple of years and if it doesn't work out he can always leave for Saudi to make up for the lost money. At least he will know when he retires what his highest level was.

Maybe I'm biased but he should want to join on a lower salary. Better players around him could be a factor for development too. 3 year contract with lower salary, if he's good we'll renegotiate, if not he can join whoever he wants.

Sounds like he is the new Morata. Avoid.

It's clear the club would go for Alvarez if we could afford him but that's hard to see. Maybe if Atleti would be willing to let him go for less because of his bad season and we let Lewa go but that's a big IF.

It's Lewa and Ferran for another season.

Basta yaaaaaaa, Cabron ! y Bona nit 🥂
In prison, there used to be broke ass druggies who used to trawl the exercise yard, looking for used up tiny shrivelled cigarette ends they could pick up and try to smoke.

I used to look at them and think " Brah, I know you broke and desperate, BUT DAYM ! "

I think the same way about us signing Vlahovic.

No used up, shrivelled cigarette ends in my Barca. :messi:

If footballers would be able to think more than just seeing how many zeros are on the contract that would be a very good point. He'd have inflated numbers at Barca, much better status in world football but a smaller wage as he could get somewhere else.
