Surprised nobody has mentioned Igor Thiago.

Not his biggest fan myself, but he's at Brentford and being Brazilian would dig his heels in for us, meaning we could probably get him relatively cheap from a really small club like them.

Not ideal, but neither is the CF market. Similar play style to Osihmen, without the super high wages, occasional bad attitude, relatively old age ( Thiago is 3 years younger ) and questionable injury record.

And the reason for this is because I firmly believe we need more than 1 CB. We need 2 CBs, one younger but very good, and one older with experience. I would make a higher priority to land first the more experienced one, preferably 23-28 years of age, but if it's not possible, the 2nd one should be main priority.

Schlotterbeck and Lautaro Rivero from River Plate would be my choices.

We need s striker. IF we don't go all in we should at least buy a very promising youngster we could rotate with Ferran and maybe Olmo.

There's an easy and cheap recipe for Barca to bolster defense. Do what already worked with Inigo.
He wasn't world class but he was a solid and experienced La Liga defender. Good leadership mentality. Also hungry to win titles.
Motivation was key ingredient that made Inigo better than he is on paper.

Central forward decision will be much more difficult and costly.

True and Senesi seems like someone who could be similar to Inigo. And we could even afford him.

If this summer we cant get hold of a couple of free agents, and a CB like Shlotterbeck for a mere 40m.
I think we should forget about any proper signings till Deco is in charge.

Lewa's wage alone would give us room to register at least 2 players. Then you have Christensen renewing with lower salary.
We need to offload Mats & Araujo somehow.
