Tebas enforces those rules and assessing its compliance while indiscriminately applying different standards, dependent on the club

Absolute nonsense.

He would get sued to oblivion if tried that. You have no clue what you are talking about.

Tebas is a mouthy twat but he does not make the rules or enforce them. Stop speaking utter garbage as want excuses for the board.

Let's put it this way: Do you think President X or Prime Minister Y doesn't exude influence over their legislature?

Especially ones who are as mouthy as Tebas; we have a perfect example of one of those in the world now. How often does he influence the work of the rule-making bodies in his country and pick and choose winners and losers?

The bully pulpit as a leader is a very real thing.

I'm pretty sure clubs don't vote on every rule change in la Liga, most of it is left to the technocrats they put in charge of whom tebas is there boss.

Tebas doesnt create the rules or how they are governed and pick/choose clubs that rules apply to and others that dont.

It is Laports propaganda and the most predictable ones believe it.

He would get sued to oblivion if was trying that.

Tebas was the one telling the truth about Barcas FFP position this summer whatever you think of the rules and saying it long ago while Laporta lied at every turn as per usual.

Don Juan Laporta Estruch

Basta yaaaaaaa, Cabron ! y Bona nit 🥂
Maybe you can explain why a club that didn't even vote for him can sign a player on high wages for 50m and have him registered in their B team and in contrast a club who voted for him signs a player for 48m LESS, on far lower wages, but has their application for him to be registered for their B team rejected.

Or the difference in how Madrid's VIP boxes were allowed to count towards FFP before money generated from them were in the coffers, but Barca's aren't. Or the absurdity of how outside funding in to the club ( Congo deal ) can't be included, all of a sudden, until Barca becomes 1:1. ( Bit of a counter productive rule that one).

There are many ways to look at two similar situations for two different clubs in a positive light for one and negative light for the other, without exposing yourself to litigation.

Especially when the rules are so subjective.

And it is not even exclusive to La Liga. In the EPL, do you think they would let Villa or Newcastle get away with the shenanigans that Chelsea and United are in regards to PSR ??

You have to be naive beyond belief to think FFP rules aren't subject to manipulation and are being applied fairly across the board.

Or have retarded agenda's against a man that keeps giving out Ls to those who aren't fans of him.

What's the difference between what Valencia is doing and what we have done on multiple occasions?.

Would love to know why a sponsorship deal with congo (blood money) is not counted towards 1:1, if that's the case no sponsorship deal should count and we only go out TV rights deal.

Unless there is something unique about that deal that we are all missing

This never happened or can even suggested to happen.

Tebas and La Liga has no power on who we register for B team, that is the RFEF. They only have the power to reject him playing with first team for more than many games, and this has never been confirmed.

And even if we believe the rumours, Real situation as it stands, is they don't have FFP problem and won't go over it with Franco, while Barca has no margin for the signing.

So nobody in this thread even knows, who puts pen on paper on these weird rules that deliberately hinder league and Barca. What's there to debate then? Saint Tebas is innocent and these laws appear from the sky on stone tablets.

He's a lawyer, so it is all about top down interpretation of the rules and laws.

He can either make it very easy or very difficult.

Simple as.

If Laporta "votes" for him it is to try and make peace after approaching like a brick with the pro SuperLeague, anti CVC initially. And an attempt to make things smoother and run like water currently.

Once we have more leverage, Laporta stance will change.

Problem in Spanish football is that there isn't an alternative to Tebas.

And the more I look at the CVC, the more I see that it was all about finding a way to fund the stadia infrastructure improvements for the 2030 world cup.

Truth
Take a gander at the clubs that were coerced into the CVC deal by Tebas & Liga and how they have fared since 2021 - pay attention to the 3 clubs who did not sign on (Hint (in green) - they are the only ones to have increased their value)

Girona as part of the state club does not count due to their unique business model
