Loan + option to buy should be done. I would not buy him either. But Rashford on loan and Fati out is the best piece of bussiness to be done for our attack for cheap if we are smart.

Of course, United is gonna pose problems. Their ego is still huge despite nothing to show for. When they hear about Barca or Madrid they are gonna confuse 2025 with 2008. So I have low hopes this goes through in good conditions for us.

They might, but not in May.

They will hope someone will go after him, the market changes a lot in August and it poses an opportunity for both sellers and buyers. Some club might talk themselves into signing him after missing on their targets. That will be Manu hope.

If we are patient, we might get him on our conductions.

Well, there's no chance we pay big money for Rashford. And considering we have other more important positions we want to spend money for... wait we will. If it's not Rashford, I'm sure we can find another loan. Ansu Fati's role is by far and away the most easily upgradeable for cheap.

Diaz is not gonna happen because Liverpool won't sell him for 40-50m to us. And as much as I'd like a surprise-signing, a young player who can play well quickly and surprise us... don't think this is the summer for that.

Sure, but there might be other alternatives to pop up late, the same way the likes of Cancelo and Felix joined.
If this is what our budget can afford, we can't be picky about it tbh
