Well, he might have mentioned them because he was asked specifically about them.

Almost every source quotes Deco but none says what was tge question to give a context. It is actually a bad habit of our media

Yeah, could also be intentional leaks to manipulate the media, so he can work on the real targets in a quiet enviroment. We don't have any money to compete with other clubs for a fee / salary, so to hide the actual targets wouldn't be a bad idea.

I think we are waiting to fully onboarding Steidten, and once the season is done we will start talking to relevant parties.

All these rumors are your usual hubbub, journalists making noise.

I dont think you usually get rumours and tabloid pieces for Technical directors' signings.

If a lot of West Ham and Barca sources are reporting (which they are), it must be concrete or at least talks are going on.

Deco is the one hiring him, one thing clear about Deco is that he likes expanding his team. He isn't working with small group.

And Steidten was hated by every coach he worked with and really wasn't popular among fans in the clubs he worked it. He isn't here to replace Deco, he is just another voice in the room.

He's that type of players who we should sign and loan for two years and see what happens but we don't do that.
