City paid 75m for Marmoush in January. Don’t think he’s available.

Haven’t seen many rumors regarding Lookman in general. It’s odd.
Yeah Lookman isn't a world beater or main guy or anything, but you feel he could be a very capable squad player for a top team. He's shown his ability a lot at Atalanta. He doesn't seem a very hyped player in general though. Seems to fly under the radar. Plus I think he will be 29 next season. I believe he's born in 1997 but not entire sure.

Indeed, think so too. His wages aren’t crazy, fee shouldn’t be too high, versatile, and seems flexible enough to be in rotation.

Just checked. Born in October 1997, so 28 this October. Younger than Diaz too.

I think he'd do well under a manager like Flick. Flick seems to bring out the best in alot of players.

Yah, with finances being a major consideration for Barca (and most clubs) he could be a relatively cheaper, low-key player to bring in and alleviate pressure from Raphinha. Would he be happy being a rotation player? I expect so, for a fair and reasonable fee and salary.

I personally think he'd be a better option than Nico or Diaz as a rotation player. I think he's more technically gifted than Nico anyway. He also seems more professional and mature than both Nico and Leao, but admittedly that is based on what I have seen and heard from them, which could be wrong.

Yeah he's closer to a 1998 baby then so if he left Atalanta he could still in theory have a good 5 or 6 years at a top club.

It will be extremely myopic to think Fofana is a project. Besides, you already have a starter in Raph and Yamal, why would you want to spend 60m on another 29 year old "starter" for a bench role?

Barcola and Doue also looked like projects before PSG snapped them up now they are considered top players. Yamal was a project last season too.

Ironically, Liverpool is already lining uomp the same Fofana for 25m if Barca stupdly pay 60m for a 29 year old Diaz in the search for a "staryer material". In 2 years Barca will be bidding 100m for Fofana from Liverpool.

Fofana has pace, 25m, two legged and in the ascendancy vs Diaz with average pace , one superior leg, 29 years and in the decline.

Knowing Barca management and their antecedents, it is obvious the one they will go for
Yes. I don't see how even at 40-50mil+ he would be a better option. He's 29 and medicore and will not be a starter. We have starters. A younger, prospect who is likely to perform similarly, for less money, while also not having to be replaced in 2-3 years makes so much more sense.

And as I said in another post, Flick is absolutely getting the best out of all the young guys. Give him the talent and let him cook.

If lookman goes to another club for a reported fee less than 45m, while we are looking to spend upwards of 50m for Diaz, Leao, and Nico.
I will lose my shit.
He is the ideal player for us. Could be starter. Technically sound. Hard worker, with no fuss. Low in wages. Would be happy to be a rotational player. Mature. Can be a ST.

Gut instinct but I think Diaz would be more happy to sit on a bench and come in as a substitute. Lookman wants to take even every penalty himself while sucking at them. (Atalanta coaches words not mine :D)

So I am not so sure he would be happy to sit on bench. Diaz seems easier to handle from that perspective but maybe I am completely wrong.

Joan García? I look very little at goalkeepers. I can give my opinion on players, but I have very little idea about goalkeepers. We are working to have information with the scouting of the best players and Joan García is a good goalkeeper" #Transfers

So he gave an interview to tell us he's not doing anything. We already knew that dear Deco.

Deco: "This week, I will sit down with Flick to decide what to do regarding transfers, I don't think any player would ask to leave."

Deco: “We like Luis Diaz, we like Rashford and we like other wingers too. We can't talk about players under contract with other clubs.”

Deco: “Last season, we were thinking about two players to improve our team — Dani Olmo and Nico Williams. From the very beginning, Olmo wanted to come to Barça and showed confidence in the project, making it easier. Nico didn't.”
