Rants spot on about how stupid "data-driven" club scouts are in general, couldn't link direct to time starts at 39:30 in this:

"nerds with computers have taken over football"

The Colombian we should be targeting is Daniel Munoz not no goals or assists Diaz.

Munoz has been one of the best right backs in the world this season.

Cons :

1) Prefers to play as a wing back in a 5, than as a conventional right back in a back 4.

2) Barca would be a huge step up for a player whose last 2 clubs are Genk and Crystal Palace.

3) He is 28.

4) EPL Tax.

Pros :

1) Goals and assists numbers have been very good at his last two clubs.

2) Big Barca fan. His club could let him go to us for cheaper than the 25m they want as it's his last chance to go to his dream club.

3) Would add that South American passion, desire and commitment which our defence lacks at times now that Araujo has been phased out.

4). No language barrier.

Just noticed that midfield prospect of Tenerife, Aaron Martin who I mentioned before, was signed by Saudi Club for 1.4m and loaned back to Tenerife for the rest of the season.

How dissapointing that a) a LaLiga club can't pay his release clause and keep him and b) that Tenerife can't get 5m atleast because of buyout clauses.

At least they are thinking about it. It's a good step to admit that Mats isn't undisputable as compared to before.

Barça's goalkeeping situation for 2025-26 is still uncertain. Ter Stegen, recovering from a knee injury, is expected back by May, but his long-term fitness remains a question. Szczęsny, who overtook Iñaki Peña as the starter, could stay if Flick approves his renewal, avoiding the need for a new signing. If not, Barça will look for a young goalkeeper. Peña’s future is also unclear, as his contract expires in 2026 and renewal talks haven't started. Meanwhile, young talents like Diego Kochen are being monitored but aren’t ready for the first team yet. @ffpolo

I remember when Stoichkov returned to Barca in 1996. He was only away for a year but it still didn't work. I have to admit it was exciting having him back though.

It's not football, It's LoLiga.

But tbf don't even feel bad for clubs anymore, they deserve everything bad they're getting and more.
