That's true, I'm on the pessimistic side on those things. I don't really understand where you guys get the optimism about small wages offered by the club if you see that this club doesn't function like this for years or even decades. Everyone who comes here or extends gets a bigger salary that they had previously, why do you think it will be different now?

Barca salaries overall matches the squad we have. Last year we had around 4th biggest masa-salary (official UEFA numbers) and we had probably the second best team last year.

Players and agents knows their values, I don't believe the bs about paycuts, but I also don't believe we overpay. Every other club have their own players that their fans hate how overpaid they are. Everywhere there are players who are free loaders too.

The debate was about paycuts. You can see daily posts where people expect paycuts from our current players or new signings but that almost never happens. It never did but people still expect it, that's the part I can't understand. At least 95% of all the players signed in the last 20 years got a big salary upgrade when the signed and/or extended with Barca but there is always talk that the next signing will play for peanuts. He won't, there is a lot more chance they'll double his salary than reduce it.

There are not many situations where would extend and decrease salary is the reality.

There are a lot of players that have signed for Barca or extended when could earn more elsewhere.
