It's funny how these days due to our financial problems absolutely random footballers find themselves strongly linked to a move to Barça

I mean no insult to Senesi but I bet he didn't count on this. Imagine being average Bournemouth CB and just one day Barcelona wants to sign you

Same for Szczesny. And Rashford. These are players who were probably shocked to hear Barça considers them as option

But it is how it is, I hope in few seasons we get this sorted out. For now, maybe Senesi could be a solid option. He's not a top CB but he's not meant to be. We simply need someone who's not a fucking amateur

We got Kevin Boateng and Jeison Murillo at the heights of our financial power, Before them we got Douglas, before him it was Maxi Lopez and Albertini.
Clubs do this random transfers as stopgaps all the time.

A couple youngsters been mentioned last few days

Barcelona are in a good position to sign Ajay Tavares, an international for England U17 and Norwich City winger, who will turn 16 this month and has an European passport. Barça have moved quickly despite the competition. [@martinezferran]

From twitter, it seems first two are close to join, though you never know.

It is different with Hamza, Al-Ahly is annoying with his sale as usual and they are negotiating stupidly a higher buy option (they should negotiate a direct sale).
They played him in the league cup as half of the first team squad is in the ACN, it seems he did really bad and was mocked by rival fans. Some feel other youngsters who were months older were doing better.

We shouldn't and we won't buy anybody. Who we can loan is difficult to say, we just started looking after Christiansen injury (again...) - probably nobody good enough. But if the rumors about Ake are true, than sure - go for it. Otherwise just promote Álvaro Cortés from Atletic.

Senesi + Schlotterback in Summer would be perfect.

I know they both are LCBs, but it doesn't matter considering all our other CBs are right-footed.

Dont think we can afford both. Both will have high salary demands.

On top, we need a CB this January. Either a loan or a cheap transfer. Senesi doesn't fit in both of those criteria.

there's this Adriano jagušić guy from croatian youth team playing in Slaven belupo and Barca sent a scout few weeks ago, along with Marseille and Cremonese.

will probably reach a decent club but not elite, and probably irrelevant to this topic right now, just found it interesting.
