We are going to have to sell two saleable assets to generate funds. Frenk and Kounde are the standout candidates. That's potentially 120m incoming.
Buy Munoz ( Old right back who is a crazy Barca fan. Would dig his heels in and demand transfer. Possibly refuse to play. Potential fee for us only could be as low as 25m )
Buy Grimaldo ( Release clause is apparently as low as 15m. Great thing about him is he could play as high up as LW for us so we wouldn't have to buy another LW. Could easily do the Raph role. )
Buy Guehi. ( He's free, it's a huge market opportunity. )
Buy Schlotti ( Another one who will be cheap because of his contract, possibly 25m. )
Buy Ederson Jose ( Again relatively cheap, possibly as low as 35-40m. Huge physical presence in the middle of the park and loves a tackle. Caicedo Light. )
Buy Osihmen. ( Another one who would break his back to come here. More expensive. 60-70m, but is the standout candidate and you can't scrimp and save on your main centre forward. )

That team is a UCL winning level team. Net spend is around 40-50m.
Munoz and Grimaldo is very attacking at full back but wouldn't get exposed in 90 percent of games against weaker opposition. Just got to bring Balde in for the tougher games and maybe play Grimaldo ahead of him and move Raph inside.

Is this an FM save? Won't dig into everything imaginary here as it would take too long.
Kounde and Frenkie would realistically bring us max 80m together.
Guehi and Schlotterbeck are both left footed. Grimaldo is 31 next year. Gala no reason to sell Osimhen.

80m is hella low for kounde & Frenkie.
Kounde is a 45-50m euros defender easily, especially considering he would go to another big team.
Frenkie as much as I don't rate him, is valued at around 55-60.
Multiple EPL money bag teams would sign both
100m for those two if we sell them.

Folk think Casado is worth 40m+ and Fermin 100m.
There is not much clue about what teams would pay.
Obvious ones to leave are Araujo/Casado.. although dont think there will be anywhere near the market for them some think there will be.
After that one of Fermin/Olmo for me as Barca have AMs and players that can cover or play midfield in a different way.
Personally prefer Olmo.. when fit.
The contracts given to MATS, Fati etc make them tough to move on.

Imaginary is thinking Kounde and Frenk would only fetch 80m as Jamrock has already mentioned, thinking Guehi is left footed ( he's not, he just plays left side and can easily move over ) and thinking Barca can't sign players from Galatasaray.
Grim is 31 ...... So he has 3-4 years left in him.
That team is definitely doable.

Would much prefer a left footed CB than Guehi who also lacks height in a team that already has that issue.
For which position would clubs be spending money on Kounde for? RB or CB? Not world class on either. He is versatile but those players don't fetch that much money. High salary too.
Frenkie had his chances to leave and it didn't happen. Don't think any clubs will be having him at top of their wish list and chase him for big amounts.

Yeah you're right he's right footed, he's short however.
Also, realistic signing 6 new starters?

50m is for decent player these days in the EPL. Kounde is way above that in any of those two positions.

The fact that we can go back just a few months and read how 95% of the forum was praising kounde and missed him in the CL, to now thinking he's what a 30-40m euros player? Come on.
Kounde since he's been signed for us has been between very good & excellent, he's off to a slow start this season and he's now. Not able to pull in serious interest if we put up for sale? Lol

Yes but that is usually for players with potential, worse players than Kounde currently but with the hope of them becoming better, 20-24 year olds, not 27. Potential is usually what is being paid for these days, not so much current ability.
Kounde is at his top level now. This is what you get. Barca aren't really satisfied with this level, why would anyone else be? Tottenham or United maybe. Would Kounde want to go there?
It's the market that decides the price, us saying he is worth 50m doesn't mean any club will want to pay that on top of his big salary. It's just unrealistic.
