Balde had moments of brilliance and Gavi as well but Japanese side all play with Gavi level energy and perhaps this was not expected by Barça. Fermin had some great touches & control but unable to get into scoring position with the low block. Lamine unable to find much joy either despite good linkup with Eric but a very slow start overall from team - surely a jetlag issue
Entertaining as it is competitive, I expect a lot of changes in 2nd half

Bro grew 10cm during the summer while partying and lost all his dribbling technique. It's either that or Messi cursed the 10 jersey before leaving.
He was already 180 in the 2024-2025 season.

Raphinha very nearly scored with a great shot and perhaps should've done better with a ball Lamine put on a plate for him with a perfect cross
As much as Eric and Jules are terrific at RB, someone with more danger to overlap like Ratiu would open up much more for Yamal IMHO
