Ansu Fati (loaned to Monaco)

Trust or not, if he wants to revive his career he better perform good enough to be unbenchable.

With that said. I find the chances of him becoming a top player slim to none. Can't think of a player who has been mediocre for so many years, to suddenly live up to his potential.

Xavi's gimpball and Flick's Bayernball stalled his career as much as his injuries.

We have mediocre players lasting for years here but don't belong.

I've seen his last 3 games, and he scored 3 goals (3 penalties).

He wasn't much of a threat going forward, from what I saw, and I wouldn't replace any of our current attackers with him. Let's see how he fares in time, though, as he may improve with more minutes.

Monaco's link up ability isn't great.

Wirtz isn't meeting expectations at Pool either.

Context is everything yet most people think they can judge in isolation.

Monaco want to get rid of him this winter mercado.
Seriously wtf happened here

He was doing fantastic at start of the season under Hutter. Then the new manager arrived and he completely disappeared

Was it a dip in performances? Or the coach just put him aside for no reason while he's in great form?

If the latter is true, and it appears so, then Monaco did us and the player very dirty here. We didn't send him to Monaco to hold the bench
