Ansu Fati (loaned to Brighton)

It'll be wrong to put our hopes on him for next season, so Depay has to stay and Fati getting fully fit for next season would be a miracle at this time, I'm still having small hopes

Literally said it so many times before. It was genuinely bewildering and borderline pathological of users here to place this guy in their "future starting XI" for the next 5 years when the bloke couldn't even start 10 matches a season for the past 3 seasons now.

The kid has managed to become more injury prone than Dembele. Hopefully we find a way to manage it like Bayern did with Robben

"Not ready for the highest level of competition", what the heck does that mean? If he can still play regularly and contribute like he did in the few times he played, that's OK.

Let's see how this story develops first.

That contract till 2027 is going to be tough to swallow if he is goes the way Pato though.

Hopefully it isn't another Barto special that the wages go up the longer into the contract

He returned on May 1st. It's mid-June and he still isn't ready physically to the standard that is required.

It's alarming.

What exactly should he be ready for now? We won't be playing a competitive game for 2 more months, they should give him all the time he needs.

Just as some of us said 6 months ago .. he could have been a special player but 4 or 5 knee operations by the age of 18 is horrendous .. I do not see how he can ever reach his potential.

He is breaking down fairly regularly without even being under duress or getting tackled

You are the reason I still have hope for Ansu. When someone as clueless as you say he is done, that is a good sign. More than 5k posts, and you never were right in any of them.

Probably some out of context hashed together quote from the friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of the person sat on the table behind Pique at his poker game last where when he commented on Fati not playing for Spain.
