Probably because game was still in balance and he looked the player on pitch having least difficulty with the conditions.

He can get enough rest after Valencia game. Game against Eibar won't be until 9 days later if he is rested against Getafe.

He isnt better than Coutinho and in last three games he missed in league won 2-0 away to Atletico, 2-0 away to Villareal and 5-0 away to Betis.

Think part of it is also a sign of trust by Valverde, despite buying Coutinho, Iniesta is still very much important to him.

I wouldn't be against Iniesta playing more if we had Coutinho for the CL but we don't and considering Iniesta's age and muscle injury history it's a gamble to play him so much in a short span.
