Well, from what I've heard - the same source that broke the Giroud to Arsenal story. I do however think that this is bullshit though.

Doesn't make sense though. He's just starting to really find his feet at Barca, and there's a new manager with a new philosophy that could get the best out of him. I guess we'd have to assume that he himself wants out.

The other rumors are that Liverpool and United are the other two interested in him. Doubtful he'd want to live in Liverpool or Manchester, so hopefully we have that going for us. Still, Wenger simply doesn't do bidding wars. We got outbid by broke-ass Juventus for Felipe Melo, and by Napoli for Gokhan Inler (before they had money), and don't forget Higuain. Hell, Benfica outbid us for Di Maria and that was a 6 million euro signing! We only go for players nobody else wants, and even that is an ordeal (*cough*Arshavin*cough*).

I never thought I'd say this, but if Alexis leaving means Suarez is coming, then I'm absolutely against selling him. That would be the stupidest move possible.

Alexis generally performs better for his country but his time at Barca has improved him as a player IMO. i like him and rate him as a very good player but he will never be as good as Suárez (with or without the biting). for me Suárez is the second best player in the world after Messi. others will rate CR7 above him as well and that's fine i'm just giving my personal opinion. still i'd be happy if Alexis stays but if he leaves we need to be pricing him at least around the 40-50m mark.

Alexis + 30m for Suárez would be a good deal for Liverpool IMO.

I would say that he was right up there with Messi for me in terms of players I wanted to see succeed in the world cup. Shame its over for him.

Tata Martino has a lot of responsability in the way the team played. People should aknowledge that. When a player doesn't fit, it's because the coach doesn't make good use of his qualities.

I would be absolutely PISSED if he gets sold. He is a great player who I'm sure Lucho could make great use of. Not only that but the absolute moron would probably sell him for 30 mill or less.


If we are really pursuing Suarez, the board should change the damn club logo. Mes Que Un Club needs to be erased from Camp Nou. We are trying too hard to get on RM's level.
