Congrats to Pato for winning the "Golden Boy Award" awarded by Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport, and is given to the best under-21 player of the year. Pato finished ahead of Fiorentina forward Stevan Jovetic. I never heard of this award but imo he deserved it but their were other players that could have won it as well.

well I didn't even know about this award until I saw this from garbage.com and I searched it as well and I found it on yahoo so this award is real.

Ya he's missed quite a few games, any idea on the extent of his injury?! A commentator said he was hurt a few weeks ago but I couldn't find any documentation on what was wrong.
