African Football

You're welcome
A lot of folks still believe that sub-saharan African teams use vodoo magic, and they thought that was in GK towels. It happened against Nigeria too.

Sure. But Hakimi and Saibari leaned into it would be my guess. It started raining, only then that they tried to remove the towel.

Can't believe what I saw last night. One of the most dramatic finals ever

Massive respect to Mane. He won them the final. Can't believe most of them were that stupid. Leaving the pitch and surrendering the match to Morrocco when it is not given at all that they will score the pen, is absolutely moronic

Think Hakimi should have taken the pen honestly. Diaz is a great player but objectively a nobody in football world. Hakimi is a world class footballer, leader of the best team in the world. Don't know if he would score but at least he wouldn't do something so stupid

Hakimi wasn’t picked maybe cause he missed a crucial penalty in AFCON 2023 against South Africa

I enjoyed that run as well but AFCON was an embarrasment tbh - the towel issue absolutely inexcusable lack of sportsmanship from host nation...WC2030? Even a gulf state would show more sportsmanship
U are a retarded man. What do u mean even gulf?.. those are some of the chillest spectators in the world world including ur part of it..

and yes.. cant get more sportsmanship than loosing the cup at home infront of 70k people and having nothing thrown on or off fhe field afterwards everything after the dramatic loss went smooth.. wouldnt happen in any other African nation currently I may bet.

Afcon keeps on giving posthumously .. there is overwhelming (video) evidence that an on-site agreement led to the Senegalese coming back with the promise that the penalty would be given away.. im the least believer in conspiracies but I have seen enough footage that I 90% believe such agreement happened.

Basically the compromise was that morocco had more to lose if the event ended abnormally.. so maybe they believed in this ad-hoc quid pro quo.. I let the penlado slide and we thug it out again in extra time.

Rest unfolded as Senegal winning as u know.

0% that happened.

1) Why would Morocco ever agree to that?
Morocco had nothing to lose. (Ur Moroccan elaborate tho) I think you don’t understand that Senegal had everything to lose.

2) It would never explain Brahim’s reactions.
