9 - Robert Lewandowski

Some other Bayern director repeated the company line today. That he will stay out the duration of his contract no matter what. Was also reported yesterday that Lewandowski is not "willing to go to war" and force his way out.

Bayern has done that before with Ballack and Alaba. So won't be surprised

Yeah.

The striker market being so poor probably plays into it as well. It's also why we're chasing a 34 year old Lewandowski. The other options out there aren't great unless you're willing to gamble 80-90m on a guy possibly working out.

Barcelona's first official offer for Robert Lewandowski was €32m. Bayern want around €40m [

Morata is good. He is not a 30+ a season league scorer but can be surprisingly effective in the big games. Remember last Euros? He was good. Other than that he had a couple of memorable goals in 2015 during Juves CL run. Tevez was the main architecht and Morata his dependable sidekick. Also he had that amazing run through Bayern defense in 2016.

This deal probably only goes through if Laporta ends up overpaying for him. I still kind of hope it happens though so La Liga is more interesting to watch next season.
