Reminiscing.
I did not believe Lewandowski could make it at BVB Dortmund. I thought the transfer was done prematurely and he was going to burn out like many other talents had before him.
After one season, he was winning competition to be a starter. My doubts were dismissed and -in my opinion - it was his defining moment: the golden goal against FC Koeln:
It does look like his style of scoring...almost a signature.

Here's my dopamine recipe for today's sport entertainment on TV.
Barca goes to Sociedad....

1. Lewandowski does not start!
2. Ferran does but gets done shit. Fucks up good situations left and right...nothing personal against Ferran. He only has the role of an anti hero for the sake of the drama to unfold effectively.
3. Sociedad gets the lead 1:0 before HT and then in 47 min 2:0....
4. 60 min Lewa goes on and gets hat trick.
5. 65 min 2:1
6. 70 min 2:2
7. 85 min 2:3
8. 90+2 Lewa assists Olmo and there's 2:4

That's the kind of drama I am looking for when I watch football and the teams are to me of no or little emotional significance.
In order for me to watch football at all and enjoy it, there must be some bone for me in it.
For the life of me, I can't muster and bring up in me a real fanship to a club that's as foreign as FC Barcelona.

Maybe that could change, and I am sure it would, if I started betting and put some money on it but gambling is not in my nature and I'll keep it that way.

When Barça’s game is on the brink,
And fans begin to overthink,
They scan the bench, they scan the sky,
And make a very urgent cry:

“Call Lewandowski, ring him now!
We need a goal—he’ll show us how!”
For when the net just will not shake,
There’s one old trick they always take.

Poor Ferran tries with honest zeal,
But luck just isn’t part his deal.
He swims around with graceful spin,
A little dolphin—cute and thin.

But matches need a ruthless spark,
A hunter’s bite, a scoring shark.
A dolphin’s smile won’t win the fight
When chances vanish left and right.

So when the clock begins to scream,
And hope is hanging by a seam,
Barça knows who saves the day:
Lewy’s called—olé, okay!
