9 - Robert Lewandowski

I'm curious, if he tries AC Milan.
I think he has one solid season at any of the top 3 Europe leagues left in him.
Maybe not a starter but he can still bang some goals. If he is a free agent when he leaves here, he'll be made offers.

Flick knows how to work him now... not to start him every time.
Robert does better when he's doubted.
For him to stay motivated and consistent, either the CL campaign must continue or WC qualification will have to happen.
Not that I could hope for more than 1/8th there but every time your NT goes to WC you fantasize about miracles.
Frankly, I'd be perfectly content if the latter happens and he retires.

He is already a legend

It's not just about titles he won and goals he scored. He brought that serious mentality to the dressing room

Auba, Depay, Luuk de Jong... these are all great players, but not experienced winners with world class quality that just came from a top european side

We had a ton of supertalented kids but they needed figures like Lewandowski, Flick, Raphinha to gain order, professionalism and discipline and make a serious team

He is a legend of this club and still has that killer instinct in front of the goal.

However, the age is showing this season much more than before and I think this should be his last season here as a starter. If he takes a 50% pay cut, he can stay another year as a super-sub.

I want him for another season. Extend him if he agrees to lower his wage.

His statistical output is still good, and it’ll buy us another year to find a proper 9.

In the meantime we can focus on strengthening the defense.

If he is a legend like the other legends with "the", time will tell...just to stay on the humble side. I say this because the legends of Barca were plenty and not everyone one of them is remembered.

I think he should be more or less on the same pedestal with Stoickov as things stand now but I could be wrong.

The best possible scenario, Barca wins the CL cup and Lewa gets the decider in the 90 + 5 minutes against PSG or Man City...then he goes to the WC.
