9 - Robert Lewandowski

Rumor has it that Sorloth has fallen out with Simeone. If he could get him cheap, that would be a massive upgrade on Lewy. Dude is 7-8 years younger, much bigger and stronger, faster and equally as good of a finisher.

The best way forward is that Ferran and Lewa split their minutes, Ferran plays for 60 minutes and Lewa the last 30 but I have a feeling Lewa won't be happy with that very soon.

It's going to vary throughout the season, likely a 50/50 split. I don't think Lewy will be upset with that considering his age.

But it depends, things can change. It depends on the players performance and how Hansi sees it.

Sorloth is not good enough.
I disagree. He is a very capable old-school number 9. Would he be a Barca player a decade ago? Of course not. But those days are long gone. For current Barca standards, he is fine. Not good enough to lace Suarez's boots, but fine upgrade on the current tractor.

As a back up yes but i doubt he will give us more than Lewy/Ferran. Both together is enough for this season, we have also Olmo, Raphi, Rashy and Yamal to score goals.

I hear a lot of comments calling him a "pole". But I feel this is misguided. He's a "pole" because that's the role Hansi Flick has set him in, high up the pitch, wait for the ball etc.... This isn't always the right strategy.
Thought it's because he's a pole.
