9 - Robert Lewandowski

I don't get why people are happy with him. Every time I watch him he's a negative and stumbles around breaking down moves. He scores thanks to Flick's system, but he misses a lot too.

I don't get why he has so so many fanboys when far superior players like Xavi, Iniesta, Robben etc have a lot fewer.

Some people honestly think he's the third best player of the last twenty years apart from M and R, which is absolutely laughable to me. He might not even make my top 10.
I've stopped commenting on this forum, but seriously, please stop repeating yourself. You've said it at least a dozen times in this thread; everyone knows you're not a Lewandowski fan, but you don't need to emphasize it every step of the way. Yes, I also believe there are many players, both current and retired, who are far more versatile than Lewandowski. But if someone believes Lewandowski is the best striker for them, they're entitled to that—they've clearly set some criteria.

Ok, fair enough. I will.

I acknowledge he's a great striker in his prime, just think he's finished. But I will stop saying it, ok.

Thanks – I have nothing against you. Let's just talk about his current game, because at his age and current form, he's certainly far from his best. He deserves applause for his overall career, and also for still being a starter at one of the best teams in the world at his age. I hope he contributes to FCB's success this season as well.

Agree, and I do respect you as a poster.

Carried the armband well on his arm for 15 mins. Other than that, did absolutely nothing. Non factor.

3-0 win and this guy is 3rd worst player on the pitch of both teams ratings wise.

Didnt find him worse or anything. Your usual Lewa game, when he doesn't score.

Problem is he doesn't contribute much. Poor in pressing obviously, poor in passing as well, making runs, falls fown easily.
And when Ferran outscores him too there is nothing left.
