Tempt back = Lewy back 🔥
Two super goals.
Two super goals.
101 goals in 3 seasons is insanely impressive. He'll (103) soon eclipse Neymar's goal tally (105) at the club and may have a shot this season to move ahead of Samu (130)
Fantastic signing

Different eras tbf. Now there is more actual play time and more games. Plus more goals scored in general.More goals than Eto'o is something I did not expect to happen. Just needs a CL.
Shined brightly but only briefly...and never on his sister's birthdayThat's crazy. Somehow I thought Neymar era lasted longer.
And in the end it's simply a stat, no stat can encapsulate what Eto'O did while at Barça - he redefined the modern forward for me, scored some golazos tooDifferent eras tbf. Now there is more actual play time and more games. Plus more goals scored in general.
He was anything but one dimensional in his peak. His first 6 months at Barca was the last part of his prime and he was absolutely balling for Xavi before the World Cup. Not just goals. And in the end it's simply a stat, no stat can encapsulate what Eto'O did while at Barça - he redefined the modern forward for me, scored some golazos too
But you can't discount what Robert consistently delivers in terms of goals - this is one of the most valuable aspects of the game, goals and he will probably leave Barça as one of the top 5 goalscorers in the club's history. He doesn't press like Samu or link quite as well in the collective play but he reinvented himself to flourish at Barça after looking relatively one dimensional under Xavi...not unlike Raphinha
Credit to Flick as well but as I mentioned before, I see no reason to go for an expensive #9 when we have Ferran & Lewy - if we land a legit LW to pair with Lamine, 40 year old Lewy would still be banging in goals left & right
His conditioning, mentality, openness and teamwork have been superlative. If you go back to when he was yelling at a 15/16 year old Lamine to accepting he was no longer the player he worked for the collective...he knew he'd be important when most of us probably thought it was done for him. Take a bow Lewandowski, he'll leave a club legend anyway you look at it

Don't forget he's doing all of this as a washed up old man at Barca. Imagine Prime Lewandowski in Barcelona.
