He is still clearly very salty that France Football cancelled the 2020 award due to covid. Though he won two Fifa the best awards.

I think he feels salty too when Yamal is a top candidate this year.
Agree on first sentence. Anyone would be pissed in his shoes. It was such a farce to cancel the award for the whole year.

Highly doubt he is salty about his teammates being nominated. He is bigger than that.

He has some real competition from Shark this season - I don't think he will "automatically" be a starter if Sharky keeps his form.
Shark looked like a gold-fish again starting against Mallorca in my opinion. His goal when Mallorca didn't defend anymore because they were waiting for the ref to whistle, saved the perception of his performance. I saw him pretty useless befor that goal. He needs to improve when starting, if he really wants to be a competitor for the starting spot.

Turned 37 today, while still starting for Barcelona. Can't appreciate it enough, especially because the leading rolemodel of footballer's physique went into the desert with 37. And it's not a dig at Ronaldo, at 37 it's perfectly fine to step down, just as a reminder that it's not something normal Lewandowski does and his fitness should be at least as much appreciated as Ronaldo's.

That’s really impressive from Lewy but we need to set one fact straight: CR7 was still playing in the Premier League at 37, he even scored that famous hattrick against Tottenham at that age and just one month before turning 38 he moved to Saudi :quemiras:

24/25 was his last season as undisputed starter. This season I think he will share a lot of minutes with others.
He will most definitely share more minutes, but depending on these minutes he can still be considered starter or not. If Ferran gets the Getafes, Oviedos and Mallorcas, while Lewa's getting Real, Atletico and the CL games, he can still be considered a starter. Most important will be to keep him fit for the entire season, not like last season where he got injured in the crucial time. Better to score fewer goals in the first half, if you save fitness for the second.

It is impressive but he even started this season with injury. Age is catching up, even if it was a quick recovery.

I remember that we said that also before the 24/25 season began :D

Even if Lewy is 10-20% weaker than last season i still think he will be our starter. There has to be a big decline so he will be dropped from starting eleven but seeing how quick he recovered he still seems to be on fire 🔥
