There might not be a striker available in the market next summer the way all of them are moving. At least not one the club likes or would make sense for us.

Giving him +30M was insane - all he does is ragdolling and some tap-ins (but I'll give him that, he reads the game well and is in the right place to score those tap-ins). Fuck it, it is what it is - next season he's gone and we'll have a new Camp Nou etc. Let's not stress about a new #9 now... somebody will pop-up and some of the players we wanted will fail and we dodged a bullet - either it'll be Gyökeres or whomever.

Honestly I think that version of Aguero was more washed than Lewandowski.
Crazy salary apart, 50m for a World Class striker for a team that desperately needed one wasn't ideal given his age, but not catastrophic either.

People are out of their minds questioning Lewa or his salary. Putting up better performances at 36 than so many failed 'prime' attackers around. Man singlehandedly pulled us back against Atl. Madrid, scored a double against Real in the Clasico and was consistent throughout the season when called upon.

Saudi Arabia clubs are going strongly for Robert Lewandowski this summer given his contractual situation at Barcelona. He has one more year remaining on his deal. Barça count on the Pole, but will be understanding if he asks to leave. @sergisoleMD, @ffpolo
