RM's plan is block him and they do it well.
He tried to bulk up before, got injuries a lot.This club is years behind. Look at gulers physical development since he arrived, look at his legs now. Then look at pedri who still looks like he's 13

All you have to do is look at Xavi's cadence, rhythm of play, stamina. Even if he somehow gets to Xavi's level of IQ in midfield, he does not have the body to do what Xavi did.
I know this is social media era, but anyone who watched both should understand that Xavi's physicality was very high. It was non stop movement for 90 mins. Pedri can't play at this intensity and rhythm. Pedri is a very talented player who would best benefit if you'd pare him with a physical beast in a 3 man midfield. Like Yaya in 2009.
