It was luck but also top tier instinct/coordination+technique to improvise and keep the ball. Bellingham tries that and the ball is out for a throw-in.
Dont think he even did that as no time to react and make it happen.
It hits his foot when trying hurdle challenge.

I agree. He is only missing a (consistently) good final ball to be at the level of Iniesta and the other midfield Gods. Cus lately I've seen him pull off some tasty passes, but he doesn't pull them off let alone attempt them regularly. Besides that, composure, ball retention, controlling tempo, dictating play, even dribbling to an extent (though not quite like Andres, not sure he'll ever match him there tbh) is world class level.
