Xavis tactics should not rely on individual brilliance. Benefit from, yes. Rely from? No.

Every coach relies on individual brilliance, that's why players at elite clubs get paid those huge amounts, to deliver brilliance. Not park the bus 90 mins or cross and inshala.

Sure, Xavi seems like a bum. But let's not act other coaches don't rely on their players. Otherwise any good coach would win the Liga or CL with the likes of Betis.

They need it in games against high-level teams in CL, yes.

But when you look hopeless against even likes of Almeria because you are missing Dembele or something it is a worrying sign.

Needs to be some base patterns of play and tactics there other than Dembele and inshallah even against trash teams.

Great players can make a great difference against great opposition. No doubt. However, we should not crumble because we are missing a few top players. Injuries have been used as an excuse for Xavi when we indeed have one of the best squads in Europe. Plenty of teams without our top players do well in Europe as a result of tactics.

The tactics against Almeria were as bad as it gets.

35 - Pedri Gonz?lez has created more goalscoring chances without having a single assist than any other player in Europe's top five leagues this season (35). Rare.

He also plays most through ball in Liga. So no wonder without him, Xavi's team struggle.
