7 - Ferran Torres

Just let him be super sub. No starting games, even with 1 goal is not good enough because he misses 100% chances a lot. You just don't know with this guy if hes going to score 3 or miss 33 chances. For me he's like one man sad: Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shit.

He is not material to be first striker.

His awerness is so low.

We need Haaland/Kane or maybe at worst Guirasy type of player as number 9.

He can score now and then but in 50-50 games he will miss like yesterday.

I don't agree with what's being written here. I actually think he is a special player.

One thing to note with him is he is always improving which is rare at his age. Importantly a lot of the mistakes he's making are things which are easily fixable.

I believe if he continues on the same path he may soon be a world-class CF and entirely valid to be our starter. The only thing he is really deficient in is his aerial prowess.
Jesus Christ man!

Attributes that make for a worldclass CF and Ferran is bad at:
- dribbling
- ability to play with back to goal
- headers/aerial threat
- finishing
- speed
- strenght/power to bully defenders
- mental Toughness
- leadership

The guy is good at running a lot and getting in good positions(while not marked). Scores some lucky goals, most of them being given to him on a platter and people suddenly think he is a great CF.

A mental midget that invented a macho nickname for himself.

What kind of strikers do you think exist these days? We aren't in the days of R9 or Van Basten.

Guys like Gyokeres, Sesko, Ekitike etc sell for 80m each.

We paid 60 for Ferran. So not far off. Lots of strikers in our system would flourish. Just look at the corpse of Lewandowski scoring lots.

In the end. Finances sorted and you wanna be letting Lewy go, keep Ferran and Rashy perhaps too, then getting that 9 like Osimhen.

He's probably the most accessible unless Haaland puts in a request by chance.

But still, he misses as much as Ferran and will frustrate in our colours.

No one scores as much as they have created for them.

You're comparing Osimhen playing for Galatasaray vs Ferran who has it way more easier considering the team he has behind, system, manager etc.

The Ferran/Lewa debate is similar to Olmo/Fermin debate. They are all not good enough but at least Fermin and Ferran run and fight while the other two don't.

Well let's ignore European competition. Lewy scored 27 in LaLiga while Osimhen scored 26 for the best team by far in Turkey.

Osimhen would be sweet if we can get him, technique isn't the best, he made some pretty basic passing errors against Liverpool Tuesday, but he's a warrior in the box, tall, strong and good enough finisher

Ferran has shown mental fortitude. His dribbling is poor for a winger, but decent for a CF. He's not that bad at playing with back to goal, he's shown improvement in that area since he started playing at CF.

Speed as a weakness is weird. Ferran is one of the fastest players in La Liga, he's just not fast on the ball. Look how many goals he scores playing off the last defender, that's because he is rapid. He reminds me of Fernando Torres in this regard. Ferran hit a top speed of 35.7km/h vs Seoul in the summer.

If you think his goals are "lucky", you truly never played football, idk what to tell you.

If he is so bad, how is he even scoring goals in your opinion?
