7 - Ferran Torres

Ferran has shown mental fortitude. His dribbling is poor for a winger, but decent for a CF. He's not that bad at playing with back to goal, he's shown improvement in that area since he started playing at CF.

Speed as a weakness is weird. Ferran is one of the fastest players in La Liga, he's just not fast on the ball. Look how many goals he scores playing off the last defender, that's because he is rapid. He reminds me of Fernando Torres in this regard. Ferran hit a top speed of 35.7km/h vs Seoul in the summer.

If you think his goals are "lucky", you truly never played football, idk what to tell you.

If he is so bad, how is he even scoring goals in your opinion?
The way he came back from being a laughing stock and cast out to being our best squad option without complaining shows enough the guy is mentally strong. It's not easy to come back from that at a big club and keep going.

'Mental fortitude' here probably means composure in front of goal, he can miss some big chances, but those are not the same thing.

Totally agree with you about speed, the guy is actually a great athlete, the reason, as you say, that he manages to break the last line of defense so often is his speed. He is also fairly strong for his speed as well. That is without considering his stamina is very good.

In all aspects, he is a top athlete. He is just not a great dribbler which is a different thing.
