First off, he's been terrible lately. With that said...
It is quite evident he is NOT a wide winger and shouldn't be sitting along the sideline isolated all game. Dembele thrives more in that position, but even then he usually only makes things happen when he's closer to net and only has 1 man to beat.
Torres always gets the ball near the sideline or endline. He's never close to the box because Alba isnt making runs out wide to create width because TORRES is always there, as instructed by Xavi.
Imagine playing the same player, every game, in the same role, every game, which not only doesnt suit his good qualities but directly puts him in a position where his weaknesses are.
He looks shit, but Xavi needs to wake up. Why buy this guy to play him this way. If you dont intend to play your 60mil signing to his strengths, then sell him for 20mil if you can and be done with it.
