6 - Gavi

Still better than Gavi, he would give us much more than Gavi did, he's only 33 btw. In hindsight we now know even Gavi is probably finished. He was always overrated anyway, no chance he was ever worth more than Verratti and Ruiz combined.

We wouldn't, we would only sell Gavi and get 2 better players for him.

It's too late now but it just shows Alemany is/was on another level than the amateur Deco that we have now.

Verratti was both finished and a cancer in the locker room, all while Alemany had deal agreed with Gundogan at the same year.
Verratti would have been terrible here and we would have tried to get rid of his salary unsuccessfully. You would have complained non stop about getting finished players if he was here.
Ruiz is only better than Gavi because the later was injured and had stopped development because of it, there was a reason Lucho wanted this deal.
Unless we were getting significant money for it, this was stupid deal.

He hasn't played football for 2 years, and before that only played football for 2-2.5 years.

1 of those years was an objectively excellent season, for a newly promoted player and even if you remove that fact, it was still a very good season for any midfielder.

And even in that 2nd "poorer" season, he still played a key part in the team winning a league title.

But a few on here think they are smart or showing great football knowledge to shit on a kid who has not played football in two years 😂.

Without injuries he would right now easily be Barcelona's 2nd best Midfielder.

If you don't see that, stop watching football.

If he gets over his injuries, which is a big IF. He will go down as one of the best midfielders of his generation.

Was nowhere near Barcas 2nd best midfielder before injury and if anything had regressed from what looked like what would be when first came through.

Gavi was lucky if he was the 10th best player in team that won the league under Xavi.

He played football almost all of last season so no he doesnt need the lie of 'didnt play for 2 years'.

Xavi was bad for him.

Fed into this fake hard man act and quality on ball was few and far between.

Hopefully gets better as matures and realises he got worse trying to be some kind of enforcer no one was intimidated by in slightest.

If he doesnt folk can always lie and say 'would have been' if not for injury.

The Gavi reaction from cules will be the same as with Fati. The fans who like them will say that they are much worse only because of injuries but in reality they were both extremly overrated from the start because we needed some hope in those dark times and some claimed that they are saviors of the club.

They would maybe become good players for rotation without injuries but never world class.

100%

He could come back better than was and still will say he was something he wasnt before injury.

They harp back to a home defeat by Real as some kind of defining performance.. as dont have many.

I read he is back, but what does this mean. Wasn't he supposed to be back in April? Back with the group or what?
he is back in training but will get medical approval in 2-3 weeks. Then he might come off the bench a few minutes and by late March/start of April we can maybe count on him as a rotational option
