Club is just saying if we give those two X dollars, we sent giving you the same or more.

Pedri's and Fati's contracts were commensurate with the team and individual performance time of signing. Gavi and Araujo looking for current market value can't blame them.

I like Gavi but if he's already looking for big bucks that means trouble down the line. Also the club developed him and gave him the chance to shine. Being greedy at this age is stupid. He'd be good at Liverpool but I'd rather lose Gavi than Araujo.

Still reckon there is a decent chance he renews and FDJ will be sold.

FDJ salary is high and has amortised cost which Gavi/Kessie wouldnt and could be spent on other area of team.

Would not be surprised if there are stories soon that Barca want FDJ to renew on lower salary or he will be sold.

Not that want it to happen as FDJ been one of best midfielders in the world in 2022..but it is hard for Barca to carry so many mids on decent contracts and having the highest salary/amortised cost while having high value could see Frenkie go this summer or next.

Again at weekend Barca lost control of game when he was subbed out for Gavi but have to make a choice at some point most likely.

Clubs like Barca don't lose youngsters unless they want to or are financially fractured. Can't see any club he'll be happier in.

This is an attractive new project. Exciting times ahead for Barca.
