His contention isn't that it's not standard, it's that he doesn't think he should have played that much after coming from a ACL injury.

If anything it is probably less than most play.

What is relevance of Rodri? He played less than 8 months after his ACL and still not a year since injury.

Out for 3-4 weeks without surgery apparently and they hope avoids need for operation.

Exactly. We hear this every time, then he has problem with it for a year and because of itplays crappily. Then decides to take the surgery. Rinse and repeat.

I mean, he has to start playing eventually, and he played very few minutes to start with too.

It's been a long time. He'll be clear of any 'acute' damage by now, so if there is loss of ability, it's likely to be permanent.

Not ACL per se, but knee injuries seem to be our bane. Players seem to be fucked after.

Not one of them had ACL at Barca and Gavi was not rushed back or overly played.

It is reported that he took a 'knock' to the knee and not his ACL and even if it was his ACL it still wouldnt make 2 year time lines etc correct for how majority come back from the injury.

Yo, what are you on about? He'll be out 3ish weeks with a DIFFERENT injury than the ACL he had - and many of you talk about him like his career is over?
