Not even worth it if it then gets included in next seasons accounts.... but that would then be balanced by the compensation possibly.

You cant unregister players to take them off of FFP they will still count whether registered or not.

Would be too easy for clubs to just not register players to create space if that was the case and still have to pay them which would defeat purposes of the cap.
Was thinking injuries are a special case. Otherwise I know we weren't able to just de-register likes of Lenglet, Coutinho etc just to get rid of their salaries for FFP.

Would more compare it to when we sign players before they get registered. They're in our books and we pay them, but they aren't registered with Liga due to FFP rules until there's cap space.

Talk of bringing back Torre btw. But don't think he'd contribute much.

Yeah in case of injuries it seems they allow you to 'unregister' them and to push the FFP onto the following season.

In Barcas case this would hopefully by offset by compensation so as to not negatively impact next seasons FFP.

Barca couldnt have players in their squad that are being paid and not contributing to FFP once seasons starts though even if signed before could be registered. Would make a mockery of the rules. Those players would still count on FFP if Barca paying them... just couldnt be registererd so would have to sell/release/loan them.

Oooft.. completely snapped ACL and and injury to the meniscus.

Not good.
Be a big one if back next calendar year by sounds of it.
Tough to take that kind of injury so early on in your career. It killed likes of Jese. Was 20 when it happened vs Schalke

Then again some like Wirtz come back same or even better

Cant see it.

That would be January when they are trying to already make space for a midfielder.

The solution for now should be Raphinha/Christensen playing more of the four midfield roles.

Well, fuck.

This year's form and some brainless matches aside, we need him for rotation. It is what it is. Hopefully, this doesn't end in the style of Ansu Fati case.

Terrible injury. Almost as bad as they come.

Odds are against him as players don't often come back the same after injuries like this.

The idiots running Barca and the Spanish NT will never learn.

Ansu, Pedri and now Gavi…all with these controversial injuries. These young players are terribly managed.

Yamal will be next.
