I think I counted him fucking up 4 offsides today. This can't happen with our tactic, Flick needs to teach him better.

And a really big mistake. He is our weakest defender. Martin is better by far on center back position. Hope for garcia and martin if frenkie is back

Atletico created 3 serious chances. One fucked line for the goal, a stupid headed pass straight to the opponent, and another fucked up line for the Alamada huge chance.

I mean, those are easy situations. You have one opponent making a run. Just one. You can't fuck up. Keep the line and let him drift offside.

3 errors by Cubarsi. Other than that... the defense held its own pretty well.

If you fuck up such easy situations then fucking bin the high line alltogether. Doesn't get easier than this and he still fecked it up repeatedly.

Part of playing the offside line is to look at where team mates are and if its on.

Cubarsi fucked the line but Kounde should deal with the situation better also.

Imagine if Pique never had Puyol and Ferdinand. Who knows if he would've been the same player. He badly needs a veteran with him until he turns 25 or so. I wouldn't mind going for Konate since he's available.

He should not start and I don't think he will for much longer. Just for some injury problems to sort out. Christensen has not yet picked up any injuries, maybe he will actually be fit this season. Eric has to start as well. Martin is at a pretty good level

18 year old should not be leading the defense of Barcelona. Especially when we play such high risk football. He is still one of best young CB prospects on planet for me and I will be patient to see him develop physically, tactically, gain more experience. It's too early to give up on someone who looked so promising breaking out
