He is far from our biggest problems in backline.

To be honest we are playing a system that demands a vastly higher level from our defenders than what they have.

It is not really his fault. He is a kid and he's hardly physically developed yet let alone ready to play in the most demanding high line in the world.

I think he would look better in a system that is less physically demanding. His defending skills and on ball skills are good but in this scheme the defenders are constantly 1v1 with the attackers.

Might not have this wild high line under other managers, but playing for Barca he will always be playing exposed.

He's a project and should be treated as such. Instead he's being treated as some Lamine Yamal version at CB which he definitely is not.

He needs a veteran next to him like Inigo, just isn't ready to lead the defense at 18. I was mad at him for a while now but cut him some slack now, it's ridiculous when you think about it.

He really needs an older , experienced defender next to him to babysit him for now.

He got that last season with Inigo. If we don't get a good CB in the winter , it's over.

And a really big mistake. He is our weakest defender. Martin is better by far on center back position. Hope for garcia and martin if frenkie is back
